A data review and DHIS2 update orientation meeting was held at the National AIDS Secretariat Conference Hall, bringing together Regional AIDS Coordinators and data entry clerks. The meeting was officially opened by the Deputy Director of the National AIDS Secretariat, who emphasized the importance of capacity building and collaboration in tackling HIV as a global health concern. Senior management, including the Director and the Differentiated Service Delivery (DSD) Coordinator, echoed similar sentiments. The program was chaired by Lamin A. Njie, the M&E Officer, alongside other members of the M&E team, Fatou Ceeay and Lamin Sarr, both Data Managers.
The primary agenda focused on a step-by-step demonstration of the updated Pivot features in DHIS2, facilitated by the Data Manager. Participants applied these techniques to analyze data for July and August 2024. The approach was well-received as user-friendly and valuable. Participants also learned to create dashboards for enhanced data monitoring, gaining practical experience during the session.
